sylpheed-claws in xubuntu-desktop

sure, but that page does not necessarily reflect what is going to be in
xubuntu desktop,
mostly a hint because anybody can edit it and many don't read the required
criteria for packages
to be added.
Rigth now it is sylpheed-gtk2 regardless what the page or the package name
says. So at least it is
not the gtk1 version.
As for claws: is it more stable and does it have a better security history
than vanilla sylpheed?
these are the two main issues in chosing one or the other, assuming they are
about the same as far as
resource consumption is concerned. The chosen package will have to be in the
ubuntu main repository
in order to make it to the CD and that implies timely security patches and
if possible as little vulnerabilities
as possible.
