glibc 2.3 / Debian

Hi all,
after Md posted the patch for inotify support on glibc 2.3, I gave
them a try and they work fine.
I made some minor changes though:
inotify-configure.patch: Checks for the sys/inotify.h header, if found
sets the define HAVE_SYS_INOTIFY_H in config.h.
libnih-inotify-support.patch: Changed nih/file.* to check for the
HAVE_SYS_INOTIFY_H define.
@Keybuk: It would be great if you'd consider to add these patches,
this would make it easier to maintain the package for Debian.
Together with the split off sysvinit package [1] I was able to build
and install the latest upstart packages for Debian unstable without
problems (I'm running upstart 0.2.5 on Sid while typing this message)
For anyone interested I put the packages online [2]. This external
repository will be (hopefully) obsolete soon, as the remaining issues
with splitting sysvinit are almost resolved and I expect updated
packages soon.
Cheers,
Michael
