Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seq24

Whenever I try to set seq24 to use the jack transport so that I can sync
it with Ardour, seq24 doesn't trigger my synth anymore.

I updated to Jaunty and had bug 346277 with seq24 crashing whenever you
create a new pattern. I solved it by compiling the latest version
(0.9.0). I'm still getting this error on startup which I think is the
source of the problem:

Maybe seq24 can't connect to the Jack Transport port? Oddly, when I use
the keyboard in seq24, I can trigger the synth, it's only when I try to
use the midi sequencer that nothing happens. I've tried enabling the
transport from the command-line and no dice.
