Hi Leon,
I use a Proline i7 which came with Windows 7. I installed Ubuntu
alongside Windows (All easily done with the Ubuntu install CD or
downloaded Ubuntu iso) and have kept both operating systems up-to-date
with online upgrades. We converted my wife's Lenovo from Windows to
Ubuntu and she hasn't used Windows for about 5 years (she finds Ubuntu
easier to use and maintain).
My point is that finding a laptop with Ubuntu pre-loaded will limit your
options while installing Ubuntu on any laptop is very easy.
Kind regards
Derek
