[ubuntu-za] New PC without Windoze?

Hi All

Just for the record,  bought a System 76 laptop 6 weeks ago.
I couldn't bring myself to pay the M$ tax and the battle with the new BIOS
they have that creates a pain for Linus installs.

Late last year my brother bought a new really great latop which had Wind 8
on, assuming he could load Ubuntu on. He just couldn't get round the
firmware and new bios setup.
