I do understand Wikus' frustration though.

It has to be said that the hardware vendors are taking Linux a lot more
seriously since steam started taking Linux seriously.

Drivers have been updated and improved at a hitherto unheard of regularity.

Hopefully Wikus's issue gets resolved soon.
