Hi Ian
I've been through this process, and eventually succeeded! I'm extremely
happy with my Gigabyte Laptop running Linux Mint 9. Everything works
perfectly out-of-the-box...
I had also tried Bravium Computers, who had unfortunately stopped selling
Linux-Powered Laptops. But, maybe the situation has changed...

Kind Regards,
Nashvin
