I used Synaptic, before upgrading to Ubuntu I used Wamp running XP.I
looked for a "complete" LAMP package to load but failing to find a
package called "LAMP" I decided the next best thing was to load
phpmyadmin.

Although there is a glitch when I try to access phpmyadmin, Apache
appears to be working as I recieve the default " ITS WORKING" message
when pointing the browser at localhost.
