Hi David,

We do have 3 soccer games in Ubuntu repos, and possibly more at sites like http://www.playdeb.net/welcome/

also via playonlinux ( which is in the karmic repos ) - PlayOnLinux is a front-end for wine. It permits you to easily install Windows Games and softwares on Linux. It is advised to have a functional internet connection.

battleball - soccer game played with tanks or helicopters

bygfoot - soccer (football) manager game featuring the most important European leagues

etw - arcade-style soccer game

William

"what you are referring to is in fact Ubuntu. If someone is confused
into thinking that what isn't Ubuntu is in fact Ubuntu, you are
probably doing something wrong" -- From their(Ubuntu) trademark policy

I am still struggling to see how the soccer world cup relates to
Ubuntu. Maybe I just don't get the connection since I am not a huge
soccer fan but would some one mind please explaining it to me.

Thanks

David
