I also had some sound problems... it works at logon, but then if the PC is
on for a day or two, the sound is just disabled.

Rebooting helped, but that's so windowsy.  IIRC, just restarting the
X-Server was also sufficient.

Anyway, I hope it's fixed in 9.4. :-)
