Two things I thought of while writing up the wiki page:

* Schools Wikipedia (http://schools-wikipedia.org/) - OLPC is
distributing a small selection of articles on the XO, with easy access
to the rest of the site. I know Andy Rabagliati (wizzy) was involved
in a similar project.

* The Cape Town Open Education Declaration (summarised here:
http://www.tectonic.co.za/?p=2069, site here:
http://www.capetowndeclaration.org/) - promoting open educational
resources (Sign the declaration!)
