The point he didn't mention is that we played against each other, over
our DSL lines, which was rather amusing.
VegaStrike is a seriously impressive space-flight simulation game, along
the lines of the old Frontier/Elite games - non-linear play, you can fly
around the universe doing whatever you want, trading, fighting, being a
pirate, flying rescue missions or whatever. The graphics are quite
incredible:
