For those that are new to UW, its nicer if we informing them at the
outset that #ubuntu-women is logged and we do have "#uw-foo-new-name"
for issues that they wish to discuss sans logs. This may partially
alleviate concerns over the logging of the official channel.

Logging a channelI != take this discussion elsewhere. Feel free to
disagree, but trolls[1] are an issue, so it would help our case to
have the main channel logged and _in the event that_ #ubuntu-women
might become a core channel in future, my vote would go to keeping it
logged and retained as the project's official channel. Being an
official channel does not exclude social discussions (like
harassment). That depends on the level of comfort the participants
have within a community and how much (personal or otherwise)
information they wish to have logged.
