I don't think Melissa was reading it as "two logged channels" but rather
pointing out that #ubuntu-women already serves as a social channel, and it'll
be extremely difficult to move the social banter. She gave a list of reasons
(with which I agree) including that newcomers will pop in there and do the
usual "hey all! how's it going? i just heard about... " and then it'd seem a
bit rude to tell them "not in here. go over /there/ if you want to chat"
