Do you really "moderate" all posts? That is, is every post to
ubuntu-women reviewed before being approved for distribution?
Are there a significant number of posts from subscribed addresses
that you reject?
I do not moderate (except for first posts from and address)
any of my discussion lists and find the number of inappropriate
posts that get distributed to be small enough that I consider
moderation unnecessary. Moderating every message is a lot of work.
Mailman's automatic filters (including stripping attachments and having
maximum messages size as low as 8kB ) does catch most things that
I feel the need of reviewing.
BTW the main feature of my lists that I consider "superior" (in
description in my signature) is the searchable Mhonarc (FLOSS)
archive format. Mailman developers admit that Pipermail leaves
a lot to be desire (wish I'd bookmarked where they said that).
