Can no longer send gmail from Thunderbird

I already had the authentication method set to OAuth2.

I fiddled around with this for hours convinced that the problem had 
something to do with Google increasing it's security. One of my 3 gmail 
accounts didn't have a password so I corrected that but I was still 
prevented from sending emails. Then, several hours later, emails could 
be sent.

I'm not sure why I'm now able to send emails when only one my accounts 
didn't have a password set. Previously I couldn't send emails from any 
of my accounts.

Anyway it's working now and that's all that matters.
