<p>I already had the authentication method set to OAuth2.</p>
<p>I fiddled around with this for hours convinced that the problem
had something to do with Google increasing it's security. One of
my 3 gmail accounts didn't have a password so I corrected that but
I was still prevented from sending emails. Then, several hours
later, emails could be sent.</p>
<p>I'm not sure why I'm now able to send emails when only one my
accounts didn't have a password set. Previously I couldn't send
emails from any of my accounts.</p>
<p>Anyway it's working now and that's all that matters.</p>
