Hi,

After updating my Dell Inspiron 530s from Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS to Ubuntu
22.04.1 LTS, my GNU emacs window is completely black. Firefox won't run.
The HP software to access my printer/scanner is unhappy.

No errors were reported during the upgrade.

Tried rebooting a few times and ran memtest86+ on it - no memory problems.

Hardware info:
Dell Inspiron 530s
4GiB RAM

Any suggestions? I've tried bugs.launchpad.net to get some idea about the
emacs black window problem - no luck.

If there are no ideas, I am in a position to reformat the drive and install
Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and hope for the best.

TIA,

Ian
