Ubuntu installers?

a developer is a user that writes code in any shape or from but as you
mention it is a "sub" type and usually a minority if you look at the
total number of users ... most non-developer users simply use the
system as a vehicle to receive or process content and for communication
purpose ...

under that definition i should indeed have written "developing user",
my point is though that one of the above groups will never care about
the mechanics underneath the surface as long as the system does what
they expect it to do, but the other does (and uses things like pip,
cpan and even a terminal to interact with them). there is indeed no
black and white here but a grey-scale reaching from user, poweruser,
admin to developer, i just meant to point out that someone using the
mentioned tools is not fitting into the first "user only" category.
