PPS: A snap allows 100000000000000000000+ different versions of the same named library, this has nothing to do with a coherent system. A coherent system ideally build everything against the same API and its maintained forever. Actually this is impossible, but instead of going a way to allow an endless amount of versions of the same named library, we should stay with human reasonable amounts of libraries, which is possible by classic packaging such as deb. Even this isn't perfect for every purpose, but at least good enough for many domains.
