[solved] HDMI audio is silent

As a person who has absolutely no idea how to configure sound, my
preferred method has always been to plug in speakers or microphones
or headsets and have them just work. In cases like with these
speakers that decided to fight back a bit, I'm just glad when I
manage to get sound at all. They're currently working, though, and
I'm listening to some Daft Punk while typing this.

In case this is useful, the pavucontrol Configuration tab shows that
the "Built-in Audio" profile is enabled and the "GP107GL High
Definition Audio Controller" profile is disabled.
