Just taking a look at the first hit mentioning [SOLVED]:
"[SOLVED] With installing alsa-tools-gui --> Running hdajackretask --> Change inline to rear output --> setup boot override
Also edit
$ sudo nano /etc/pulse/daemon.conf
then testing with
$ speaker-test -c4 -twav
