google chrome wants me to update to new version

Hi there

I am on ubuntu

Distributor ID:    Ubuntu
Description:    Ubuntu 21.10
Release:    21.10
Codename:    impish

Opening google chrome I get a warning, that I should install a newer version, 
and I get offered a download by simply click a button.

Now, how do I "know" this is no fake, that wants to install a backdoor or some such?

Is there no "ubuntu official" way to install the chrome browser using apt get?
