I doubt that. Version 1.0 came out at the end of 1998. :-D
I used 1.x too. I found 2.x overly cluttered and moved away. 3.x was
IMHO just ridiculous and yet that's the one that got forked as
Trinity.
4.x was horrible. 5.x is a slight improvement and I tried it for a
month or so but I couldn't handle it. It still can't do a vertical
taskbar properly, for instance.

Ah well. It polarises people. It's Mac-like and I like Macs -- I'm
typing on one -- so it works for me. When on non-Ubuntu distros I use
Xfce.

OK, well, it's an oldish model now so if you've done it since 2018 you're good.

No discrete GPUs on those, AFAIK. Mine's one too.

Ouch!
Got to be careful. I just ordered a Thinkpad USB keyboard from China
-- fingers crossed what I get is what I ordered. It was misdescribed
as Indian layout but the pics show a UK one.
If you're in the UK, try CEX for cheap RAM. www.webuy.com
