I would happily tell what changes I made, but for the suspicion that
those responsible for imposing the forced updates, would impose a way
of preventing the (mostly effective) preventing of forced updates.
The safety and security of my other computers, outweighs the concept
of openess, and open source, in this instance.
A principle of self defence, is to not let attackers know the details
of the means of self defence, otherwise they find a way of overcoming
the means of defence.
It would be a bit like anti-viral software companies giving their
source code to the virus producers and distributors.
