how are you so sure ? nobody else seems to see any such issues apart

there is exactly one kernel version per release out there in the
archive ... nothing in the OS does mix and mash versions, you can see
the list of kernel versions at the bottom of [1] ...
21.04 uses the 5.11 kernel, 21.10 uses 5.13 ...
unless you hacked up something yourself or forced the system to use
different kernels from some unsupported archive, there is no way to get
5.10 or 5.12 installed ...
