Basically, a Wayland compositor with all sorts of fun effects and 
plugins, and clearly a shared heritage with Compiz.  I've seen other 
window managers attempt to incorporate stuff akin to Compiz, but it was 
always crudely done and a clear afterthought, whereas this seems to be 
angling to be Compiz but re-imagined for Wayland.  While I'm hesitant to 
embrace Wayland just yet -- I *REALLY REALLY LIKE* network transparency, 
and don't believe Wayland cares about it at all -- it looks like Wayfire 
just might be the thing to push me over the edge.
