I need to reboot to take a look at my Ubuntu install, however, for the
Arch install it's not "-1", it is

$ cat /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend
2

However, one model of case I own never goes to sleep, despite the value
"2" and another model goes to sleep, but could be waked up without
resulting in an input/output error.

Two different other models fail with input/output errors. I don't have
one at hand anymore.

It's the same for the Ubuntu and for the Arch Linux install.

All were connected to the same bus, the same computer, the same Ubuntu
16.04 and Arch Linux install. Excepted of the drive that goes to sleep,
but still works, it's a WD bundle, the other cases are used with the
same Toshiba P300 HDD.
