A user asked if migrating from Mate to GNOME is better than to stay with Mate. Describing facts about GNOME isn't bashing. The idea of a DE is to provide a consistent workflow, look and feel, but this is what GNOME actually does _not_ provide, while Mate does provide it.
As already pointed out, even if some people really should experience GNOME as free from fatal bugs, I still wonder that nobody commented my claim about the inconsistent design of GNOME apps. Some GNOME apps provide a burger thingy only, while other GNOME apps a menu bar only. What ever you should prefer, GNOME apps don't provide a consistent workflow, look or feel. Mate doesn't suffer from this issue.
