Welcome to insanity.

Let's see if I can think of a few more:

- my ISP router modem makes you configure port forwarding by first
specifying the internal port and then the external port, completely in
contravention of the order that packets flow, causing you to not notice
that you're actually doing something wrong.

- Windows 10 is only supported if you have a latest version installed;
that means you need to upgrade about every 6 months or lose security
updates within a year or two.

- Conrad processes orders completely automatically but does not have a
service desk during most of the hours, and it is impossible to cancel,
redo, edit or postpone any order any time.

- the most popular hardware shop in the Netherlands went from free
delivery on almost all items to € 7,50 for everything and dropped
envelope sending.

- Microsoft phased out almost all interesting applications like Windows
Media Center, Windows Movie Editor, and is now even trying to get rid of
"paint", replacing everything (if at all) with unusable crap no one
wants or uses.

(That's Movie Maker).

- Its "automatic recovery" 99 out of 100 times doesn't do a thing even
when you have an issue with your computer, and just wastes your time as
you're waiting for your computer to boot up.

- My ISP modem has port forwarding hidden under "Security" and does not
allow you to change the base router address except by changing the DHCP
range, but you cannot give it another address than one ending in .1, so
the procedure for changing it is turning on DHCP, then changing the
range of DHCP, then turning it off again.

Okay maybe not such a great list.

Btw. "Inkscape" also only allows you to change a tool until after you
have created an object with that tool; very annoying.
