Can't remove printers - Ubuntu 16.04

Interesting.... I disconnected the old box, rebooted the new one, and
the printers did not even appear - no need to delete them. BUT, when I
reconnected the old box and rebooted, they were there again, and could
NOT be deleted, as before. Not a significant long term problem, since
the old box will go, but it would be nice to know why they can't be
deleted. Ubuntu is perhaps too good at finding printers. :-)))
