Upgrading from 32 to 64 bit

My guess is, that already used 32 bit guests most likely
work, after migrating from 32 bit to 64 bit host architecture, just
vice versa, a 64 bit guest most likely doesn't work, after migrating
from 64 bit to 32 bit architecture, while a 32 bit guest still might
work. I suspect that most virtualization is much based on the abilities
of the host. However, if you don't use a VBox VDI, but instead
VBox with QCOW, then even migrating from VBox to Qemu should be
possible without any worries. Important only seems to be the abilities
of the host and what kind of image type is used. Anyway, you should ask
on a forum for the used kind of virtualization you are using.
