two virtualbox (internal-network) setup

Engineer Amer,
I just setup 2 VMs with both a NAT and a Host-only adapter. I ended up
with VM1 at 192.168.56.101 and VM2 at 192.168.56.102. Both VMs can see the
other. I did not alter any of the preassigned IP addresses. I then
installed openssh-server on each of the VMs and had no difficulty ssh-ing
between them. I can also ssh to each of the VMs from the host using the
192.168.56.10n addresses.
Are you setting up both the NAT and Host-only adapters? Without the NAT
adapters, I don't believe you'll be able to update either of your VMs.
Perhaps you could send the results of an ifconfig command for both VMs.
Regards,
Dick Dowdell
