Yeah, well, sometimes it's more obvious that one thinks.
- Enable the canonical Partner repo via the Settings tool
- "sudo apt-get install skype"
It installs a frighteningly large number of dependency packages (about a
hundred) with VERY unprepossessing names like libdrm2...
Seems to work though.
(Hangs head, shuffles off)
