Suspend not working after upgrade to 14.04

I spoke too soon.  With that nvidia driver running, Minecraft doesn't
work (no OpenGL)!  Is there a chance that running Bumblebee (which
I've come across while searching for NVIDIA + OpenGL issues) will fix
the suspend problem?
