GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX doesn't work

I often have to use the option 'GRUB_GFXMODE' to show progress while
booting, but once it's booted I don't think this option has an effect. (for
the desktop)

Also, I don't think it's necessary to use the ' GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX'
option. At least, not for me..

And be sure to update grub after the change.
