Hi Pete,
This laptop is less than 2 years old and the CD I am using is the same
one I used to install 13.10 on it originally. I remember I had a hard
time installing Ubuntu on this machine along side Win8. I can't
remember if the LiveCD not working was part of my problem or not, have
to go back and look at any info I saved at the time.
