Well, I do have an old, literally, its an HP dv-5120us that I keep closed
up in the shop, but I can't leave it up and running or the keyboard gets
jammed from the saw dust etc that is in the air from time to time. Laptop
keyboards suck anyway & I haven't found a utility to kill, with extreme
prejudice, that *&%% touchpad as I use a mouse.

This machinery is against one wall, and a large bandsaw and a 6" delta
jointer are slowly sinking the middle of the floor. I need to sell an
overarm saw I haven't used in yonks, the place is crowded, only a 12 by 16
foot hip roof shed. The HP gets used occasionally to log into (ssh -Y
machine) one of the other two machines so I can carve gcode for the next
job when I have a project going and be able to sit in a folding chair while
doing it. Battery is OEM, and long since down to 5% of its new capacity.

But free lappies? Not in WV, we use everything but the squeal here. :)

Cheers, Gene
