[Ubuntu13.10 32 bit] wifi connection fail using network manager but works using wpa_supplicant

Hi Colin,

Thank you very much for your reply.

(1)wpa_supplicant can connect to wireless network
     And after 
     dhclient wlan0 &
     It can get an assigned IP address.

     It stay connected for a long time but sometimes drop out after 15 minutes of connection.

(2)using Network Manager applet,
      It keeps asking for password and never connect and get an IP address.

So these two cases are quite different.
(1) is working 
(2)never work

Your advice is very much appreciated.

Do you mean it says it has connected but then asks for the password again?  If so that usually means that the connection has dropped out and cannot immediately been re-established.  You said that it connects using wpa supplicant but then drops out.  Are you sure you are not just seeing the same symptom in both cases, so whether using wpa supplicant or network manager it initially connects but then drops out?
