That is no reason to sit passively and accept this sort of poor 
behaviour.

If they all build low quality machines we will all simply switch to 
FukiWukiBla&Co (TM) who are undoubtably much cheaper than the big 
molochs. Then one day the marketing dept of HPsonMark will find out that 
customers are willing to pay a little extra for better quality and 
service, and we will once again be able to buy proper hardware. :-)
