I did.

I've never heard of any such interaction on Linux (I have on Windows,
although mainly in the bad old days) before but I suppose it's not
impossible.

FWIW I am running Chrome & vanilla LibreOffice side-by-side with no
problems on a machine with an nVidia card, on driver 295.40 - no
issues.
