ASUS U36SD FAN NOISE

Hi all ubuntu-users members,
My name is Wayan, I live in Bali.

I am new member in this mailing list.


Please help me with my hardware,

I am having trouble with my notebook,
Fan inside the notebook looks unstable,
sometimes it noisy and sometimes it quiet.

The problem are:
1. When in heavy load the fan is not necessarily noisy,
2. When in small load the fan is not necessarily quiet,
3. And sometimes the fan noise at a constant speed for a long time
even in the idle state.

I do not know what the cause of the noise. Is the kernel, hardware, or
something else?

Please help me, I've been looking for an answer on the internet, but
without success.

Asus U36SD
Processor: Intel Core i3-2330M 2.20GHz
RAM: 8GB
HDD: 500GB Western Digital
Video Graphic: NVIDIA OPTIMUS GT520M + Intel
