When you say "hightlight-copy the content with the link mouse button"
what do you mean? Do you just mean marking it by holding down the
left mouse key and dragging?
So if you are just pasting into a newly opened terminal then vim does
not come into the story at all?
For me this works ok (but I am on 12.10). Of course if you mark
multiple lines then it tries to execute the pasted lines which may not
be desirable.
