Any one using 12.04 for nfs/ldap setup?

Hi Folks,

New to ubuntu, chasing a requirement to configure several servers, one to
host
/home folders, distribute via nfs & the nfs sesrver is also an ldap server
that is used for authentication to login.

Question: is this scenario workable on dhcp based servers?
