Premio,

Perhaps you cannot do it in auto mode but it is can be acomplished
with a slight manual intervention, Ctrl A, Ctrl C, Ctrl V,

That's what I did:

- Looked for a big ,pdf document in my files
- Found a 116 pages Brother printer manual
- opened it with "Document Viewer"
- selected the whole text (Ctrl+A)
- opened Google Translate - translate.google.com/ in my browser
- set language to translate to to Italian
- pasted the original (English) in the left panel (peculiar but the
images were not pasted)
- after some time the right panel showed the result.

Tested with Google Translate because (of course) it was the first
search hit. There are alternatives.

Don't know the limitations but it surely went a long way after page 3.

Of course it doesn't compare with professional translations, but the
output seems (I just looked over) readable, it's a matter of
requirements.

In the example below - aside translating "Brother" as "fratello" the
result (from this message) is not a joke (but then my Italian is
crappy)

-------------

----------------

Auguri,

Lucio
