The nouveau driver has a LONG way to go. At best it renders a hot nVidia
card, with a gig of Vram, into a S-10 Virge POS. I played merry hell
trying to get the nVidia driver correctly installed, after I cleanly
installed 12.10 Had I not been through this many times before I would
have been out of luck. The new method of installing additional drivers
does not automatically load the kernel headers files, so that the module
can be built.
