I was reading through the instructions for doing that. But I have one
stupid question: Once GRUB 2 has been put into the GRUB 1 menu for
chain loading, how do I get the GRUB 1 menu to appear at boot time?
When I boot, there is never any menu. It just invisibly goes right
into the default kernel. It must be some key you're supposed to hold
down or something. I found something that claims it's the shift key
for GRUB 2. But what is it for GRUB 1? Is it ESC? If so, when exactly
are you supposed to hit the ESC key? I think I once knew how to do
this (with LILO) back in my Slackware days. Yes I know we're getting
off-topic.
