Go to a package manager and give in "KSnapshot": a KDE package aimed at
capturing images of the screen. It can capture the whole screen,
a specified region, an individual window, or only part of a window. It's
also possible to build in a delay of one or a few seconds. It works like a
charm - in all situations. So, consider installing it. As far as I know,
KDE packages from the repository also function inside Gnome, Unity, Xfe and
other window managers. After installing it, you can invoke it via the Print
Screen Button.

Respectfully yours,
Bas.
