So I grep'd the /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and there are no hits returned
on that either. Odd. So I'll go and grab AMD's driver and see if it
helps and file a bug report on the driver I have installed.

I'll report back by tomorrow if the official driver works better. Thanks
