You used system/hardware drivers to set it up? Is the little green light
lit up showing it's installed and working? I've learned, in my dottage
to not install said drivers directly, but to use the system app to do
it. The nvidia dot-run file will put lib things into a different
directory schema than will the Ubuntu hardware drivers app, and Ubuntu
expects them to be set up using hardware-drivers. Beats me what the deal
is, but doing it the Ubuntu way saves me the heartbreak. Ric
